PinkPepper is a cutting-edge, CBD-rich hemp variety developed through a pioneering collaboration between Kangwon National University in South Korea and the Institute of Cannabis Research (ICR) at Colorado State University Pueblo. This partnership resulted in a high-quality reference genome for Cannabis sativa L., driving advancements in both scientific research and industry applications.

CANNANBIS REFERENCE GENOME

Pink Pepper has been selected as the reference genome for cannabis, and the comprehensive scientific analysis was published in Nature - Scientific Data on December 28, 2024.
